Our Monster 696 Cafe project is based on a new 2013 696 ABS 20th Anniversary model. We used this bike because of its matte gold frame, replicating the original Il Mostro 900 of 1993. We also wanted the 3-Spoke wheels of the Monster 696 vs. the 796 or 1100 single-sided wheels to again, replicate the Monsters of the 1990¿¿¿s. From there, we went straight to the 1960¿¿¿s with our own headlight kit featuring a classically beautiful round headlight with chrome bucket.
