2010 BMW G650GS, Talk about a great all around motorcycle – the G series 650’s which were originally the F series (don’t ask us why they changed this because we don’t really know) has become a solid, dependable, fun staple of the motorcycling world. And we do mean the world because lots and lots of these machines have been piloted by assorted world travelers countless hundreds of thousands of miles around the globe.In fact when these bikes first came out BMW USA choked when asked if they wanted BMW’s first chain drive machine and as a result the US market had to wait two more years until BMWAG could catch up with production to supply the US dealers. This is all fact. And Bob’s BMW was the first US dealership to fully embrace this model by creating the first all newBMW bikes Customer Service Loaner fleet and selling off the ever changing assortment of clean used BMW’s that had provided this service for close to a decade to their clients. These bikes never missed a beat and never failed anyone.The bike you see here has gone through myriad changes, improvements and upgrades since the first generation arrived from Berlin and is now fully fuel injected, ABS equipped and even more fun to ride. We never see enough of them come back in trade to satisfy demand. And if you know someone just starting out it would not only suit them well now but serve them well for many years to come because it is so capable.This is a one owner bike that is in impeccably perfect cosmetic and mechanical condition. But it did arrive in need of a good bath and a professional detailing and this has obviously been handled because you can see how sweet it looks now. And while it is most a stock bike it does have the factory center stand option along with heated grips. There is also a near new set of Happy Trails easily-to-remove adventure cases and a GPS stainless steel exhaust system which eliminates some weight, adds a little more balanced sound to the machine and just looks great.
