The Engine The K1200LT uses a water-cooled, in-line four-cylinder engine with two camshafts and four valves per cylinder that displaces 1,172 cubic centimeters. The bore and stroke are 70.5 millimeters and 75 millimeters. The engine produces 116 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and 86 foot-pounds of torque at 5,250 rpm.
