2009 Yamaha Fz1 , 2009 Yamaha FZ1 Charcoal and Black 7222 miles. An R1 based fuel injected 998cc engine with 145-150 crank hp and 125 rear wheel hp, 485 lbs, six speed transmission, 12,000 rpm red line, a 4.75 gal gas tank and I get 42 mpg. A fun, quick and agile motorcycle with a relaxed upright riding position that makes for a comfortable all day ride. Great in the twisties and on straight roads. Add soft luggage and you have a great sport tourer.The bike is more fun to ride than I can put into words. I bought the bike in April 2012 from a young man near Memphis,Tn who had bought the bike new and put only 91 miles on it. Equipped with a Zero Gravity dark windscreen and Sargent seat. Factory seat and wind screen included. The only reason I am selling such a great motorcycle is because my first bike, way back in the 70s, was a Triumph. I have wanted another for a few years and had a great opportunity to purchase a Speed Triple. I cant justify keeping 2 bikes so similar so the FZ1 is on the market.
