2005 Suzuki V-Strom 650, RNIThe 2005 Suzuki DL650 it is not a V-Storm, rather a V-Strom the German word suggesting a flowing stream, or small body of moving water. This appropriately named, dual-sport motorcycle is liquid smooth on the roads, and presents riders with great versatility for preferred riding styles, and two-wheeled adventures. Built on the same power platform as the 2004 Suzuki DL650 a tuned version of the Suzuki SV650 engine the 2005 Suzuki V-Strom is capable of running hard on a 645cc, liquid cooled, 90 degree V-Twin and DOHC with four valves per cylinder. The fuel injection system makes for smooth fuel delivery, and an incredibly responsive throttle. Riders will love the control, as well as the impressive fuel economy. The 2005 Suzuki V-Strom tested at over 54 mpg average, and once the engine has been gently worked through its initial break-in period, owners can expect close to 60 mpg when cruising easy at highway speeds.
