Sporting two new colors for 04, the Bandit 1200S is back and better than ever. This standard-styled machine features an aerodynamic, aggressively styled fairing with bright projector-beam headlights and protective windscreen. Other highlights include a comfortable seat and stylish tail section, lightweight components and a powerful four-stroke engine. The 1157cc air/oil-cooled, four-cylinder motor provides an abundance of torque and power, thanks to precise cam timing, Mikuni 36mm carburetors with throttle position sensor, and a high-capacity clutch and oil-cooling system. The Bandit 1200S is supported by a strong, stable chassis. Its cartridge-style front fork offers adjustable spring preload and the preload- and rebound-adjustable rear shock is mated to a sturdy aluminum swingarm. The Bandit 1200S rolls on radial tires spooned onto wide aluminum wheels. Dual 310mm hydraulic disc brakes are assigned to the front and a single hydraulic disc is mounted at the rear.
