2006 Kawasaki Kx 250F, This is an 2006 / 4 stroke. Im the second owner of this bike. Ive owned it since October 2010. After I purchased it in 2010 I had valves checked (all in spec), chain inspected and tightened, had the carburator rebuilt, installed an adjustable air/fuel screw on underside of carburator and installed a larger diameter pilot jet. I rode it once in 2010 season (couldnt get it running properly until pilot jet changed) and for the next two seasons, 2011 and 2012. I would roughly estimate approximately 6 times per season out at Baldy Mesa. Rough estimate...3ish hours per ride, 18 hours per season...approx 36-40 hours of riding time since ive had it. Its been stored, covered in my garage since the end of 2012 riding season. It basically a stock bike with exception of Pro Circuit exhaust, Renthal Sprocket, new handlebars and a couple minor parts like the new jet valve misc carburator parts etc.... This bike was my baby but was no garage queen. I rode it but really went out of my way to maintain it. Im not rich so i had to take care of it so it would last me. After rides it was washed, chain cleaned and re-lubed. Air filter was cleaned and re-oiled every ride. Oil was changed every ride to every other ride. I never rode it more than twice without changing the oil. I only ever used rotella, motul or mobil 1 synthetics in it. oil filter changed every other ride almost always with oil change. Spark plug changed at the beginning of every season as was the air filter. i added a Pro Seal gasket to the air filter. Gas was completely drained from the carburator (including the bowl) after every ride. it has bumps and bruises. The fenders and such are scratched from riding. There is a bolt missing from the rear fender support and the tires (definately worn)and probably chain (could squeak out another season) need to be replaced. It probably wouldnt hurt to re-pack the exhaust either. Other than that this bike runs amazing. It will start up after a few kicks after having sat in my garage for six months (i start it and ride it around the block every few months to make sure all is well). This bike really runs very, very well. You will obviously have to come test drive it but its still an awesome bike. I really needed to add the air /fuel adjustable screw for riding out at the mesa at high altitudes for best performance but it really needs to be replaced with a better one. The one thats in it works perfectly but tends to loosen from riding and you need to jump off the bike every hour or so during a ride to tweak it. There are probably better ones by now that dont loosen so easily during a ride. This bike comes with my aluminium truck ramp and any maintenance items and gear I still have. Your welcome to my helmets, boots (size 9 still in decent condition) goggles, think thats all i have left... $1,799.00 3102663418
