We begin by giving it the smooth-operating, rubber-mounted Evolution® engine and 4.5-gallon tank. Then we go to work from there. We raise the handlebar, lower the suspension, and give it easy-to-reach forward foot controls. It all makes the riding position feel right. The custom look wouldn t be complete without a 150mm rear tire. Chrome Profile Laced wheel options available for both front and rear. A seat height of just 26 inches makes the XL Sportster 883L the lowest Sportster ever. Its ergonomics, designed specifically to fit smaller riders, include a solo seat with lower cushion height and positioned further forward than the Sportster 883. The handlebars are pulled further back and are wider, while mid-mount foot controls fit a wide variety of riders. Front and rear suspension is lowered and re-tuned to maintain precise handling.
