2009 BMW K1300S, With a severe shortage of new K1300S’s this year accepting this beautiful machine from the owner was easy. It was sold new back in June of 2009 and returned to Bob’s BMW for the few scheduled services it needed as well as a few warranty repairs like the software update, rear spring strut lever and a new left control switch. With just under 6,000 original miles it looks brand new and we’ve done more to insure you feel the same way. It’s nicely decked out with fine goodies you will want. To start, it is cosmetically and mechanically perfect. Period. We’ll start with the cosmetics. You just won’t find any minor rust, light corrosion or surface deterioration on any part of this bike. The wheels are perfect and we are the only people to ever install tires on them thus far. It was very well cared for and just underwent a full professional detailing here at Bob’s following a full service. All of the paint glistens, the seat is supple and even small stuff like the grips and foot peg rubbers all are like new. Mechanically we feel the bike is still in break-in mode. These inline 4 cylinder engines need to hit 10,000 to 15,000 miles because of the amazing coatings they are lined which take longer to allow rings to seat in fully. It starts, runs, shifts, performs, operates, handles and stops exactly as a new machine would; it just costs a lot less. One demo ride and you’ll be quickly convinced of how perfect this machine is.
