This bike won four world championship titles in the SBK series. The Tuono V4 R arrived in 2011, a direct descendant of the unbeatable RSV4. It was the most powerful, technological and sophisticated naked ever produced, the most mind-blowing, wicked and efficient machine ever created and was dedicated to those aficionados who longed for a bike that was, to put it simply, "excellent in every way. The know-how gained from years of experience of winning at the highest level allowed Aprilia to go that bit further: the new Tuono V4 R ABS is better performing, more fun, more efficient and safer. Just one version is available. It comes with the full electronics package fitted as standard and there is a choice of two colours (black or white). The new Tuono V4 R ABS raises thesupersports bar again by also being more comfortable for road use. Not only does the new bike get all the important up-dates introduced with great success in early 2013 to the RSV4 Factory ABS and RSV4 R ABS, it also features a new saddle and a revised standard suspension set-up (fully adjustable) to improve comfort during road use. Other rider comfort changes can be seen in the new tank which now holds 18.5 litres and in pads on the side of the tank which increase feel for the rider under braking and while cornering.
